latex2rtf software package provides Converts documents from LaTeX to RTF format, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install latex2rtf
latex2rtf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the latex2rtf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep latex2rtf *
You will get with latex2rtf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
